Amplifi Paperclip SaaS Accelerator, Hong Kong’s first and only B2B SaaS dedicated program welcomes its first HK Cohort

The Hong Kong startup ecosystem has really taken off and come into its own in the past few years. The opportunity now is to create ecosystems that can help this revolution translate into meaningful growth for the coming startups in Hong Kong.  With this in mind, Amplifi Business Incubation ServicesPvt Ltd of India who already had one cohort under their belt and Paperclip Startup Campus, Hong Kong, partnered to announce their first program for B2B SaaS startups in HK in August 2016.

The program is designed to find, nurture and accelerate the next-gen innovative startups in B2B or enterprise SaaS and enterprise tech.

The program wass announced in July followed by offline and online campaigns were launched and applications were closed on 31 August 2016.  About 35 startups were shortlisted for a face-to-face pitch. Each startup was given minutes, which included 30‐40 minutes of pitching their idea to the panel followed by a detailed Q&A for the rest of the time.

The panel consisted of the accelerator's founders, advisors and mentors locally and from different parts of the world via gotomeeting online conferencing.
After several intense days of pitching the panel deliberated and shortlisted 5 startups from Hong Kong to join the program.
